ZOU is the television adaptation of a series of children’s books, published by « L’École des Loisirs » in France and abroad (famous Award “Parent’s choice” in USA & Special Award of the last Festival de Turin).

ZOU is a little zebra, who’s about 5 years old. He lives in town, in a modern world, surrounded by his family, parents, grandparents, great-grandmother, cousins….
The series centres around the family.
Every family in the world has one thing in common – each one is unique and special.
Zou’s has its own peculiarities. That’s why it’s so likeable.

ZOU lives in a world where each situation - mistakes, ambiguity, errors, blunders, confusion, misunderstandings, contempt, innuendos… are just excuses to play. The series aims to introduce these situations with SUBTLE IRONY.

ZOU is targeted at 3-6 year olds and their parents, also represented in the series, who could watch the series for game ideas or even solutions to small conflicts.
